Symptoms of Easy depressive episode

In the clinical picture there is: decreased ability to concentrate and to be attentive, reduced self-esteem and self-confidence, ideas of guilt and self-deprecation, a gloomy and pessimistic attitude to the future, suicidal ideation and self-harm, sleep disorders, loss of appetite. These are common symptoms of a depressive episode that should be combined with a level of depressive mood, which is perceived by the patient as abnormal, and the mood is not episodic, but it covers most of the day and does not depend on the reactive moments. The patient experiences a clear reduction of energy and fatigue, although it can monitor his condition and often continues to work. Behavioral (facial, communication, postural and gestural) bad mood symptoms may be present, but are controlled by the patient. In particular, we see a sad smile, motor retardation, which is perceived as a “muse.”

Sometimes the complaints are the first loss of the meaning of existence, “existential depression.” Usually the diagnosis is noted whether depression occurs without physical symptoms or somatic symptoms.
