What Are Other Organic Personality Disorders

Disorder that are observed in the majority of premature babies, children born as a result of abnormal births take place against a background of minimal cerebral dysfunction, and belong to this group.

What Causes Other organic personality disorders

Symptoms of Other organic personality disorders

This group includes the behavioral and neurotic disorders in childhood and adolescence, resulting in residual-organic-based (so-called neurosis and psychopathic disorder). These are phobic, obsessive, dissociative disorders, syndromes, disinhibition and actually delay development of residual-organic basis.

It is based on the identification of neurotic, personality or cognitive impairment on uncertain residual-organic basis.

Differential diagnosis

It should be differentiated from a progressive change in some exchange of intelligence mental retardation, such as phenylketonuria, tyrosinemia, Rett syndrome. In these disorders is marked increase in cognitive and behavioral disorders.

Treatment of other organic personality disorder:

Treatment includes the impact on an organic basis (nootropics – nootropil, Phenibut, glutamic acid, entsefabol, aminalona) and symptomatic therapy to neurotic or behavioral disorders (tranquilizers, small doses of neuroleptics).
