Here I present you my list of best psychological thrillers:

1. Black Swan (2010)

No one would ever though that a film about ballet could be so interesting. A ballet dancer wins the lead in “Swan Lake” and is perfect for the role of the delicate White Swan – Princess Odette – but slowly loses her mind as she becomes more and more like Odile, the Black Swan.

2. The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

One of the best movies and psychological thrillers of the past century fully deserves to be in the list of top-10 psychological thrillers. FBI agent Clarice Starling conducts a serial killer case. She is forced to ask for advice, Hannibal Lecter, the cannibal who is serving a prison sentence.

3. The Shining (1980)

A film of the incomparable Stanley Kubrick, based on the Stephen King book – a master of horror. Jack Torrance, along with his wife and their son, comes in an elegant wilderness hotel. He wants to get the caretaker job during the low season and engage himself in writing. But the empty house starts getting the family crazy.

The success of this psychological thriller consists of three components: the script based on a famous novel, directed by Christopher Nolan and acting Michael Caine and Hugh Jackman. The story of two competing magicians. Their friendly competition turns into a real war, which will not end without sacrifice.

A rare movie where Bruce Willis is not running with a gun, saving the world. He plays a child psychiatrist, who is facing a strange 9 years old boy: Cole has terrible visions – ghosts of dead people. All these people were killed, and come to the boy to bring down on him the oppressive fear and desperate anger.

A week before retirement, Detective Somerset dumped two problems: a young partner Mills and a specially messy murder. His sharp mind immediately determines that crime series will continue.
